OUR STORY

Our Pastry Chef: Jennifer Whiteley, was born in San Antonio, Texas and grew up in the historic King William Neighborhood on Madison Street. She comes from a family of very talented chefs, and a family who loves to cook! Her mother let her play in the kitchen and get creative (and messy) with food. At a young age she learned to cook and developed a love for baking. In 2006, she graduated from Texas A&M University and went on to study at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin. Upon finishing her degree she worked at Jeffrey's of Austin as an intern, pastry assistant, and ending as their Executive Pastry Chef. She went on to work at Country Clubs, Catering Companies, and Hotels; honing her skills at each place she worked. Jen moved to Nashville in 2019 and was the pastry chef at the historic Hermitage Hotel for 2 and a half years before deciding to start her own business; making cakes and delicious treats for Nashville and surrounding areas.

But, for Jennifer Whiteley, Madison Street is where it all began!
